How Airbus A380 works?
The greatest
The Airbus A380 is indeed a giant. His wing span is 79.8 meters, it is 73 meters long and its maximum takeoff weight is over 540 tons
Although it is the largest passenger plane ever made, it is not the largest aircraft in the world. That honor belongs to the An-225 Mriya, by the Ukrainian Antonov.
A plane this size can carry hundreds more passengers than today's airliners. The Airbus A380 double-decker passenger (with a lower level to load) could be designed for a single-class configuration and have a capacity of over 840 passengers.
However, as Airbus did not have this goal, the aircraft was designed for a three-class configuration accommodating 555 passengers. This still represents a remarkable progress in relation to the 416 passengers can be transported on the Boeing 747-400, the former leader in passenger capacity

Airbus beats Boeing

Boeing, in turn, sold 530 aircraft between January and September, Sales include 46 new orders in September.
The Airbus was highlighted this year with a renewed version of the A320, with only one corridor, which will offer fuel economy.
Analysts, however, say that Boeing should return to the lead in the race for orders after accepting a reform to the top-selling 737.
On Thursday, Airbus said it does not expect any impact of the debt crisis in Europe on orders and reiterated its forecast of 3.5 trillion dollars worth of aircraft orders over the next 20 years.
